Dear Miss Misa,
My boyfriend and I have been dating for six years. We talk about getting married and starting a family, but he never pops the questions. What should I do?
Curious

Dear Curious,
A ride on the Merritt Island Subway System is very romantic. I recommend you buy a couple of tokens and take a ride on the MISS. Just don’t let him off until he pops the question!

Dear Miss Misa,
I live near Mather’s Bridge at the Southern tip of Merritt Island. Are there any plans to bring the Merritt Island Subway down our way?
Wondering

Dear Wondering,
Probably not. Working in partnership with the DOT, the Merritt Island Subway Authority recently rebuilt Mather’s bridge. We thought you’d be more grateful!

Dear Miss Misa,
My dad says that the Merritt Island Subway System is a figment of your imagination or a giant taxpayer boondoggle. I’m like totally mixed up about this.
Confused

Dear Confused,
Well intended but misguided, your dad probably bought you a shiny new car on your birthday so you wouldn’t have to ride the subway! Remind your dad that our Subway is, like, entirely safe and much less expensive owning a car. As far as a ‘boondoggle’ is concerned, please inform your dad that the Merritt Island Subway System is paid for entirely by rider revenue, station and train advertising, and local civic contributions. So there.

Dear Miss Misa,
My mom says you have too much time on your hands. What gives?
Troubled

Dear Troubled,
I’m a busy bee! The more work I do, the time I seem to find to do exciting things like this column. Maybe your mom isn’t busy enough, so enclosed please and assortment fruit flavored filled bon bons and this week’s TV Guide. Go girl!

The Small Print: You just knew we’d need to raise a little money to support our Subway System and keep fares low for riders. We’ve got inexpensive month-to-month opportunities for naming a station, adding a station, and transit advertising.
